I’ve been thinking about how much I want to go camping a lot lately. This is the first time the Zombie Boyfriend and Robot Buddy have shown up together in a comic.  I think they make a pretty good pair.

We better be getting the indian summer to end all indian summers this year cause I am about to call BS.

Ugh… I really should tidy up my desk as well. After all, my girl is coming to town soon and I don’t want her to think I am a complete slob. Slob is fine… complete slob, I don’t know.

Tomorrow I want to spend a fair amount of time working on august’s mini-comic but I have a screenprinting idea I think I’ll be able to crank out and actually make be pretty cool so I’m thinking i’ll do that first and hope it motivates and inspires me to finish up this month’s comic and get it in the mail and posted online.

Another thought I had was to maybe update this site more often with shorter 3-4 frame comics instead of just posting the frames from my mini-comics at the current rate of about one per month.

I’m also debating wether or not I want to have this site feature non comic related blog blurbs from me… we’ll see.  In the spirit of non comic related blog blurbs I ate a ridiculous amount of mexican food last week.  It was amazing.

The good thing though was that I completely out played the other teams big guy in the first game… its that dude I hate playing against cause he’s totally clumsy and aggressive (not a good combination). Anyway, I was pulling out all the tricks and making him look pretty silly and making a fair amount of buckets.

After the second game we went out for a few drinks with the other team which was cool cause for the most part they are all nice folks. I had two rolling rocks. They were tasty.  I washed those down with two pretty solid slices of pizza from down the street from the bar.

I really wish we won the championship but hey them’s the breaks I guess.

Exciting!

I was struggling to come up with an idea for my third mini-comic and was feeling kinda low, that same week George Carlin died.  George Carlin was a great comedian who’s battles for free speech and sharp, on point social commentary were and are of incredible value.

He’ll probably never get the recognition he is due but really, do you think he’d want it any other way? This was my tribute to a great citizen.

See I told you they’d get better.  This was my second mini-comic.  Lots of people seemed to like it.  I like my zombie guy but I am actually more excited about the girlfriend, I think she came out pretty great. I’m hoping the reader really gets the feelings of frustration that go along with being in love with the undead.

This was my first attempt at creating a mini-comic.  People seemed to like it.  I know it looks pretty crappy online but this is also my first web comic so they will get better, plus I started using thinner pens on my other ones so it should only get better from here on out.
